Tubing Anchor
Tubing anchor is a simple, convenient, reliable tool designed to anchor tubing movement during pumping operations in the oil well. It is able to decreasing wear on rods and increasing pump efficiency. So it is applicable for anchoring conventional oil well pumps and rotary screw pumps in vertical wells, highly deviated wells and directional wells.
When anchoring the conventional oil well pump, install the tubing anchor above the pump. While anchoring the rotary screw pump, install the tubing anchor and the kits below the pump. After the tubing set down, pressure up on the tubing until the stated hydraulic pressure and set the tubing anchor. For pump inspection, pick up the tubing, release the anchor until the extraneous force overruns the stated value, and open the drainage passage to drainage oil at the same time.
