Rod Pump
The rod pump is consisted of long pump barrel, short plunger and sealing accessories etc, it can be entirely put into the tubing with the pumping rod. In accordance with the fixing type, it can be divided into three types including stationary barrel bottom fixing rod pump, stationary barrel top fixing rod pump and traveling barrel bottom fixing rod pump (Insert Pump)
Advantages:
1. There is no need to lift the tubing for pump checking operation. It is simple to operate with low cost and applicable for slope and low fluid level wells.
2. The pump itself could play a role as gas anchor, so it’s also suitable for wells with sand or larger viscosity.
