Description
Tubing Pump
The common tubing pump gets its name because the pump barrel device (including pump barrel, extension nipple, standing valve assembly and so on) is directly threaded to the tubing to be part of it and put into the oil well with the tubing.
Advantages:
1. When the trilateral pipes have the same size, the diameter of the applicable tubing pump is larger than that of the rod pump, so it is the good choice for the large discharge capacity well.
2. With firm structure large flow areas, it can pump viscous crude oil.
3. Due to the restriction of the rod string strength and the elastic extension, tubing pump is generally used in shallow wells with larger discharge capacity and medium-deep wells, not suitable for gas well and ultra deep well.
