Visco-elastic Surfactant Fracturing Fluids（VES）

VES are polymer-free aqueous fracturing fluids that generate its viscosity through the association of surfactant molecules. This VES-based fracturing fluid is formulated with nonionic surfactant. The main advantage of the VES fluid is that it is non-damaging to the fracture conductivity. Breaking is accomplished by encapsulated electrolyte or by dilution.
