Corrosion Inhibitor
This product is an organic corrosion inhibitor. The molecular structure is asymmetry. The inhibitor molecule consists of polar groups and non-polar groups. The non-polar groups are alkyl, which is lipophilicity, while the polar group is hydrophilic and bears affinity to the metal surface. When the polar groups are adsorbed on metal surface, the longer non-polar groups are closely packed by van Van der Waals and form strong compact adsorption film. On the one hand, surface adsorption changes the charge status on the metal surface and the interfacial properties, which makes the energy state on the metal surface more stable and increases the activation energy of the corrosion reaction, retard the corrosion rate. On the other hand, the non-polar groups can separate the metal surface from corrosive media, and prevent the transfer of charges and substance of the electrochemical reaction, then retard the corrosion.
ü The product can effectively retard the corrosion caused by oxygen, carbon dioxide and sulfate salt reducing bacteria.
ü When the additive dosage is 30mg/L, the corrosion inhibition rate is higher than 75%.
ü The product can remove the biological slime somehow.
USAGE:
It is mainly used for inhibiting the corrosion of the pipelines and tanks in the oilfield reinjection water system. The additive concentration is usually 30-50 mg/L. Pump into the system after the circulating pump works for 24 hours, or depending on the field condition.
